Death, oh Death... What now?

Death, oh Death, where is thy sting?
Have you lost it to the Offering?
When he paid my price and bore my shame
When he stepped forward when you called my name
Death, oh Death, where is thy power?
Was it broken in that final hour?
When the sky went black and hid its face
When True Love saved the human race
Death, oh Death, where is thy scourge?
How long since you a death dirge heard?
When Father's son was crucified
When for men's souls the last lamb died

  1. "And death once dead, there's no more dying then."
