You know what's even better than having meaningful conversations about deep topics online? Having them in real life. That's actually true about pretty much anything, it's better in real life than online. I don't remember tournaments being this awesome... and I think it's because I was always doing speeches, but I don't think I've had these awesome conversations before. I figure out what my brain type is (ENTP, "Strategist"), pose random questions about dreams coming true, learn about inter-subjectivity, and... talk about a million awesome things with Grace that I hardly ever talk about but are so important (I can't even remember all the things we talked about, dogma, the superiority of LD, street evangelism, people we've beaten, so many things)

I expected to feel so wiped out after today. I had so little time to recover from robotics, and I was working like a house elf to get ready for FEE, and tournament's are pretty exhausting things... but I'm on an adrenaline high. Proof that I'm extroverted, you guys have recharged my emotional batteries... and my mental ones. Sad to say, I don't talk about values at robotics.

Note: it's really hard to focus on a debate round when you have Kamikaze going through your head. Fortunately, it wasn't my round. In my round, I had How Far We've Come stuck.

  3. We always thought you were a feeler...*shrug* Yay! ENTP's for the win! (me too) I...definitely think that online IS "real life" but it's just missing a central part of communication: body language, and eye contact...and the whole just... "being there" thing, it...doesn't feel like a "real" conversation. :-/
