But, okay, so Mumford & Sons has been making music since 2007. I caught myself thinking, "I liked them way before they were at the Grammy's" and all that. But, c'mon, I was probably listening to them for less than a year before that happened (credit to becca and michael).

I've decided, for my emotional and spiritual wellbeing, that I can only start to like musicians AFTER they've become famous. Just to circumvent the whole "I heard of them when--" thing. :P
